One of the first things that sets Sunny Hill apart is its welcoming vibe. As soon as you step through the door, you’ll be greeted with a warm, inviting ambiance that feels like home. When it comes to the food, Sunny Hill is all about classic American comfort dishes done right. Their breakfast menu is a fan favorite, featuring fluffy pancakes, hearty omelets, and crispy bacon. Whether you’re in the mood for something sweet or savory, you’ll find something to satisfy your cravings. The huevos rancheros, for instance, is a must-try. It’s the perfect blend of flavors, with a rich tomato sauce, perfectly fried eggs, and a side of crispy tortillas.

For lunch or dinner, Sunny Hill doesn’t disappoint either. Their burgers are juicy and flavorful, served with a side of crispy fries that are always a hit. If you’re craving something a bit lighter, the fresh salads and grilled sandwiches offer a great option without compromising on taste. A standout on the menu is the grilled chicken club - tender chicken, bacon, and all the right fixings on toasted sourdough. It’s simple, yet incredibly satisfying.

But it’s not just the food that makes Sunny Hill a standout spot. The service is always on point. The staff are incredibly attentive, ensuring that you’re well taken care of without being intrusive. Whether you're a regular or it's your first time, you’ll always feel like part of the Sunny Hill family.

Of course, no visit would be complete without a glance at the drink menu. While the diner’s milkshakes are legendary-especially the vanilla and chocolate options-you’ll also find a selection of local beers and fresh juices. Whether you're relaxing with a shake or unwinding with a cold brew, there's something to suit every taste.

Cute local restaurant with great foods. -Round style pizza was introduced as NY style pizza by the waitress. Dough was slightly softer than average NYC pizza I had over 10+ years, but still very flavorful and had nice chewy dough. -Sqaure pizza was introduced as Detroit style pizza by the waitress and that was my main target for my previous visit. It had that fluffly thick dough with crunchy bottom and side, so I exactly got what I was looking for, so was very happy. I think this was my very first time seeing where one restaurant served both NY and Detroit style pizza. -Although square pizza was my main target and I loved it, I have to say that the most impressive menu I got was actually Fried Cauliflower. Fried batter was amazingly crunchy and two sauces’ flavors balanced fabulously; red sauce being spicy oily one which reminded me that of sichuan style and green sauce had hummus-like texture but its taste was more like pesto. That crunchiness/spicyness/savory flavors in one bite was probably the best edible thing I’ve had during the year of 2025. -Side bread that came with burrata chesse was kinda cold/stiff/burnt, so I wouldn’t order the burrata cheese here again, although the cheese itself was fresh and nice. I would certainly love to come back to this place again to get the pizza and cauliflower.

The Caesar salad is one of the best Caesar salads I’m ever eaten. Watermelon lemonade was to die for. And the square pie hmmmm is all I can say. They have indoor seating along with outdoor seating in front and outdoor seating out back on the patio. We usually like sitting in the window seat if it’s available. This is located in a great walking neighborhood. After eating I love walking through the neighborhood and taking in the beautiful gardens and Puget sounds views from the park down the street. If you’re in the neighborhood please stop by and experience a great flavorful eating adventure.

We had an amazing meal at Sunny Hill! We tried one of their square pies and the roasted broccoli—both were absolutely delicious. The crust on the pie was perfectly crisp and flavorful, and the toppings were super fresh. The roasted broccoli was a surprise standout—perfectly charred with great seasoning. The vibe is fun and relaxed, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu!

We were visiting the old neighborhood and decided to stop by Sunny Hill for dinner. We were seated on the terrace in back and helped by the wonderful Irish waitress Evie. She was great! There are two pizza style options. The square Detroit style or a round style, 4 or 8 slices. We opted for a 4 slice Detroit Arcade. Delicious! As was the tiramisu cookie we had. Highly recommend!

Went to Sunny Hill for dinner with family. Amazing Chicago style square pizzas which all of enjoyed. This was capped off by a sweet bite of Tiramisu cookie. It was a surprisingly heavenly version of regular Tiramisu. All of us overate and had to go for a long walk to digest our indulgence. Evie was our waitress who really welcomed us and took car of all our dietary construction. Her service was impeccable. We had the following dishes: CRUNCHY CAULIFLOWER lime & cilantro cashew cream aleppo oil & garlic ROASTED BROCCOLI miso ginger tahini, orange & dulce. DEATH BY MISADVENTURE garlic & fennel sausage, basil guindilla pepper, taggiasca olive and mushrooms NATURE BUDDY 31 | 51 foraged mushroom | taleggio peewee potatoes with Ham Vegan pizza version of DEATH BY MISADVENTURE created by chef Tiramisu cookie

Great pizza. Good location, right next to Golden Gardens. Enjoyed both the round and square pie options.

Some of the best pizza I’ve eaten in Seattle. Located in a charming neighborhood with a very friendly staff, Sunny Hill is a must for pizza lovers. We ordered the arcade square pie with a gem lettuce salad. High quality ingredients with great flavor & texture. I’ll be back.. definitely have my eyes on the smash burger for next time.

Sunny Hill has become a go-to for me (and my dog). One night he got a bite of their amazing roast chicken while I was eating outside, and now he basically drags me here on walks . The food’s always super fresh and flavorful. The Detroit style pizza is incredible, crispy edges, cheesy, perfect. Salads are crisp and interesting, not your usual boring greens. And the roast chicken? Honestly one of the best I’ve had outside of France. Great vibes, great food, and a perfect neighborhood spot.
